Pacific Northwest 4-Wheel Drive Assn. 2000On the third weekend in September, the PNW4WD hosts the annual Beach Cleanup. The NW Chapter participated in the Region 2 section in Westport, WA. We had six Jeepsters in attendance, and a great time was had by all!

The caravan out to the beach!
Here we are, with the exception of Wayne (he got stuck in traffic just behind us) on the way to Westport. We briefly had to pull over and circle the wagons while Bill made some soft top adjustments. |
Registration, 8:00am Saturday morning!
Bright and early on saturday, Donna made a fabulous breakfast, and we all left for the registration booth. We all bought some cool doo-dads, and raffle tickes for the Warn Winch drawing at the Puyallup Swap Meet in March. As you can tell by the picture, it was pretty cloudy. |
Out onto the beach...
Here we go! I still haven't changed my front driveshaft, so it knocked around all weekend. There was NO way to run in two wheel drive in the deep stuff. I figured there was a minimal chance of hitting someone on the beach that day, so I snapped a shot while driving. That would be Dan tearing up the sand in front of me. |
