More fun in Westport

After the cleanup, we all gathered for the 4x4 parade through the small town of Westport. Many of the townfolk came out to see us. As a thank you, the city of Westport always puts on a Chili Feed in the afternoon on Saturday.

No Jeepsters in this shot! I guess thats to show that we spent alot of time eating. Saturday night, Wayne went to a local Oyster joint, and picked up goodies. Bridget made excellent home made fajitas, and Bill, the chef by trade, whipped up prawns and oysters for appetizers. Mmmm...

Saturday night, after we had dinner, we all jumped in the Jeepster and headed back to the beach. There were a couple hundred Jeeps of all kinds surrounding a very large pile of pallets and scrap wood. Hmmm...sounds like a BONFIRE! We stayed warm, and enjoyed the clear night in front of a huge bonfire. Everyone had a fantastic time, did there part to help clean up the world, and vowed to return next year!
