This is my first time on this website, yet, I saw my husband checking posts everyday........I want to thank you all for your support during this tragedy. I have received many cards and
prayers from all of you. I am now the proud owner of a 64 Jeepster Commando....and I don't
know the first thing about it. Pray for Brian......and his car.
Thanks again, Julie Sweeney

Julie, Welcome. I did not know Brian personally but can tell you that he was exceptionally helpful
to all on this board. I wish you luck dealing with your loss.
Can someone change Julie's status from "stranger" to "friend". It just doesn't look right.

With the help of everyone on this board returning the knowledge that Brian gave to us, we will try to help in the ways that we can.

My heart jumped when I saw this post. May God bless you Julie. I was looking through some files this weekend and ran across a reply that Brian had sent to
me regarding my motor swap. Ironically, I was at a fundraiser for the disaster victims! Just to
let you know, we raised $2000.00 but an angel matched us for $1500.00 this morning for a
total of $3500.00!
I think that angel may have been Brian.

Like most of us I didn't know him personally, but I felt I did. We all enjoyed his company as a friend and kindred spirit. For sure, we will all miss him, and we will never forget.

Julie, With Brian's logic and well thought out advice, many of us turned to his solutions when we
wanted something to work the first time. On our ship, in this sometimes stormy sea of
Jeepsters, he was our anchor. We will miss him....

Julie, from the Jeepster owners in Ontario and Manitoba Canada, our prayers go out to you and your family. ALL of us on this board miss Brian greatly. (The "Search" function at top of the
page will attest to this). I am honored that you would come to visit us on this board and
hope you will continue to do so. As others here have said, please do not hesitate to call
upon your Jeepster friends for anything at all. Dan D.

Julie- Our prayers have been, and will continue to be with you and your family. When I read we
had lost a member of our Jeepster family, I cried, even though I did not know Brian
personally. Julie, you too are a member of our family-and we are all here for you.

Julie, It is great for us to hear from you. You will find the people of this club to be some of the best and Brian was among us alike. This whole club has seemed to hurt as a whole over the
loss, even though we can only imagine the amount of sorrow that must fill your heart. I am
sure at future events we will hold some kind of honor to Brian. I have been including a note
on all my E-mails asking my jeepster customers to not only remember him but also you in
their thoughts and prayers. I have not had a day go buy that I have not thought about him.
I sat in my usual Sunday church service and thought about the tragedy deeply. It is good for
everyone to acknowledge their contact and connection with Brian, it speaks of a great and
close relationship that extends beyond jeepsters. Brian was a great individual we will all
miss. We also share in your deep sorrow and offer our help in any way possible. I want this
note be about Brian, however I will share my personal contacts with him.
The hood and grille
on your jeepster, Brian bought from me. He bought several other items that I cannot recall. I
can distinctly remember him telling me about getting married. We talked a lot about Fighter
Jets since I work for Boeing in their Military Aircraft plant.
I used a couple of his examples
with our work force on how he liked our products. I was, along with the rest of the club
members looking forward to meeting him and you at the Jeepster Jam in GA.
I am sure your
sadness out-ways any of the memories I could share at this point. Please keep in mind, this
tragedy can never be a good thing, however we will always remember the signifigance Brian
brought to each one of us. We extend our hand of help in any way possible in honor to him.
Please let us know if we can do anything. God bless all.

I want to thank you for posting this message. I had only spoken to Brian once but when I heard what had happened, I cried. It really hit home when I realized someone who had
helped me had been involved in such a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers, however woefully
inadequate, are with you and your family, as well as all of those affected by everything that
has happened. May God Bless and keep you as your Angel looks down from above.
If there is anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. Someone here will have the answer.

Julie, You and your family have been in our prayers since this horrible attack on our nation. Please do not hesitate to let this group know if you have any needs both physically and emotionally.
When help is offered from this forum, you can believe that it is sincere. This is one of the
best web groups I have ever seen. Everyone that participates does so voluntarily, with great
enthusiasm for the rigs we work on, but also for each other. Brian is a great example of the
spirit of this group. He is greatly missed. May the peace of God be upon you.

Dear Julie, When I first heard about Brian, I couldn't hold back the tears. Even now, I can't. I bought the transfer case from Brian last year- remember when he smashed his thumb trying to get the shifter tube out so he could ship it? That didn't go as smooth as either of us
would have liked, but I certainly enjoyed getting to know Brian through our e-mails and the
few times we talked on the phone. I feel like I lost a good friend even though we hadn't met
yet in person.
Well, the transfer case is in my Jeepster now. I rebuilt it late last summer
(2000) and I'll always think of Brian when I go 4 wheeling.
Both you and Brian are in my prayers. God Bless you, and Brian, and yours and his family. We're all going to miss him very much.

Julie: Although I didn't know Brian personally, one thing I noticed about all of his contributions to this board is that they all included words of encouragement. When Jim had
his knee surgery, Brian eased his worries by telling him about some relatives who had gone
through it. It seemed he was always making us feel better (when Jeepster projects weren't
going our way) with his kind words. Never once did I see him join in on any griping or ridicule
of others. He seemed to know how to live his life. My deepest sorrow for your personal loss.

Julie, Like many Jeepster people, I never met your husband but I did use the advice that he posted here. It is my understanding that he contributed to the design of our Jam t-shirts this
spring. I wear it and when people ask about it I mention Brian.
God bless you, our prayers go out for you.
